Health Department extends Back to School Boost Drive
JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department announced on its social media pages that the Back to School Boost drive will be extended for an additional week.
According to their Facebook page, the department said busy parents were asking for more time and the department is responding to their request.
“We heard from busy parents who needed more time – so we’re giving you another chance to get ready for school! The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department is giving away FREE school supplies until July 18 if you come in for a scheduled shot (immunization),” the health department posted on its Facebook page.
The Back to School Boost free giveaway is valid only during Boost Weeks, which ends July 18, and the student will receive a free starter pack of school supplies during their visit to receive their immunizations.
Parents need to call to schedule an appointment for their child’s immunizations in order to receive the free school supplies. To schedule an appointment, call 731-423-3020.
