Plant enthusiasts trade up at Plant Swap event
JACKSON, Tenn.—Plant lovers unite at one local event in Jackson.
A Plant Swap was held Saturday from 10:30am until 4:30pm at 82 Clayton Street in Jackson.
The event offered local plant enthusiasts the opportunity to not only showcase their favorite plants, but share them with others.
Those who attended were invited to trade plants by cuttings or seedings, sharing their favorites, or even offering seeds to others.
Plant fans could also exchange other garden items and share their best gardening tips and tricks.
The Plant Swap was geared towards plants that are locally grown outdoors, or houseplants.
“Today we’re doing a plant swap. We have a few vendors. Anywhere from t-shirts, pens, bows, baked goods and it’s to get them exposure for their businesses, while also trading a few plants in the plant community,” said Ryleigh White, Co-owner of Sunrise Kitchen.
There was also food, vendors, and music available to enjoy during the event.
