Dyer Co. Sheriff’s Department: Arkansas fugitive arrested

DYER CO, Tenn.—Dyer Co. Sheriff’s Department reports apprehension of Arkansas fugitive.

Arkansas Fugitive Arrested
On July 11, 2025, at approximately 1559 hours, deputies responded to Lowes Home Improvement located at 1155 Highway 51 Bypass regarding information received by investigators about a wanted individual from Arkansas occupying a white Dodge Durango in the parking lot. Investigators made contact with Geoffrey Spears, a 59-year-old male, seated in the rear of the vehicle. An NCIC inquiry confirmed that Spears was wanted out of Arkansas for a Violation of Parole, with full extradition authorized.
Spears, residing on South Lake Street in Blytheville, Ar. was placed under arrest for being a Fugitive from Justice. He was transported to the detention center where he was processed and released to corrections without incident. A court appearance was scheduled for July 14, 2025, at 0900 hours in General Sessions Court.
