TBI joins search for missing man in West Tennessee
HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. – The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in a missing persons case.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Kentucky State Police to assist in this case after receiving information that Ryan King was last seen in Henry County Tennessee.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has joined local law enforcement in the search for King. The TBI and the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) have both used their drones in an attempt to locate King, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
During the course of this investigation, we have learned that Ryan King was last seen around June 03,2025 in the Shankle Road area in Henry County, headed toward Old Paris Murray Road.
Henry County Sheriff’s officials said King has a medical condition and is without his medication. Officials have canvassed the area, speaking to neighbors and individuals near where he was last seen, and there have been reports of individuals that may have seen him walking. However, no physical evidence has been located to show he has been in the area or that point to his whereabouts.
Information provided throughout this investigation is that Ryan King had made a statement that he was going back to Florida. After Ryan made that statement, Ryan presumably left walking from the residence on Shankle Road going towards Old Paris Murray Road.
Officials say they plan to continue searching for King and will release additional information later this week.
Ryan King is 6”2 , approximately 185 pounds, brown hair and green eyes. He was possibly last seen wearing a purple shirt, khaki shorts and black tennis shoes.
There has been no contact with Ryan King since June 03,2025.
