Wanda Lee McQueen, 82, of the Walnut Log community passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Charles Southerland will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Manuel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Thomas, Troy Curry, Ronnie Taylor, Jeff Huff, Zach Huff, and Alan Terrell.

Wanda was born August 19, 1942, in Hickman, Kentucky, daughter of the late Malcom and Annie Lee (Azbell) King. She married Jerry Bruce McQueen May 6, 1957. He preceded her in death March 6, 2009. Wanda retired after 40 years of service with the former Salant & Salant in Union City and H.I.S. in South Fulton. She was a member of David’s Chapel Baptist Church.

She is survived by two children, Sharon Thomas and Phillip McQueen both of the Walnut Log community; one grandson, Bradley Thomas (Kathy) of Trenton; three great grandchildren, Browning Thomas of Hornbeak and Tabytha Curry and Nathan Perry both of Trenton; one brother, Bobby Joe King of Farmington Hills, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a infant son; three sisters, Marlene Waggoner, Ruth Hale and Gladys Clark; and four brothers, Malcom King, Jr., James King, Richard King and Buddy King.
