DA’s Fugitive Friday: Matthew Frye wanted in Haywood County

DA’s Fugitive Friday for July 18, 2025
Matthew Frye is wanted out of Haywood County Circuit Court for failing to appear at his scheduled court date on July 7, 2025.
He is charged with Three Counts of Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Handgun while Under the Influence.
Mr. Frye allegedly committed these offenses in Haywood County but has ties to Madison, Maine.
If you know of Mr. Frye’s whereabouts, please encourage him to safely surrender himself to the Haywood County Sheriff’s Department.
