University of Memphis Lambuth hosts open house for Doctor of Physical Therapy program

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local university has an open house highlighting one of its potential programs of study.

The event was held at the University of Memphis-Lambuth campus in J.R. Hyde Hall for the university’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

The university hosted qualified, prospective students and their families for an open tour of the renovated facilities that will house the program on the UofM-Lambuth campus.

The University of Memphis is seeking accreditation of a new physical therapist education program.

“Get your application in now. We can begin reviewing it, offering an admissions interview. But, if you’re not ready to apply, you have all the way through February and March of Spring 2026 to get your applications in and be considered for our developing DPT program,” said Dr. Jacque Bradford, director for the doctor of physical therapy program.

The hope is to be able to achieve accreditation status in early 2026.
