Voices of Savannah’s cooling center open

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — During this extreme heat warning, it’s important to prioritize safety.

The Voices of Savannah’s cooling center is once again open to offer cold air, water and a safe space to anyone in need.

This cooling station is located at 680 East Main Street and will run until 6 p.m.

The center operates on a volunteer basis and hopes to stay open while the heat index remains high.
