Huntingdon students take 2nd place at National Beta Convention
HUNTINGDON, Tenn. — A dynamic singing duo from Carroll County is making a difference on stage.
Tylan Johnson and Claudia Cooper bring home a 2nd place win trophy from the National Beta Convention in vocal performance.
Johnson and Cooper faced over 40 students in the nation in competition.
14 students from the Huntingdon High School attended the beta convention in Orlando, Florida.
This incredible duo makes sure to mention their sponsor, Ms. Jana Boyd as an important contributor to their team.
Johnson and Cooper new TikTok video is soaring to 100,000 views since making their official account together online.
“It’s really great being able to get out there in front of all these people and know that we have such a great support system behind us. Tylan really is understanding and we were both nervous about it at first, so, as we kind of practiced together and got used to it, it was really nice having someone like Tylan around. Since coming back from Florida we’ve started singing together more,” said Cooper.
