Wreck on Interstate 40 West slows traffic
JACKSON, Tenn.– We received a call from one of our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Tipsters around 4:30 Wednesday regarding a wreck on Interstate 40 westbound at Exit 85.
When our WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News team arrived they saw law enforcement there handling the scene.
The tipster informed us that the car allegedly flipped 5 times.
The Jackson Fire Department, the Tennessee Highway Patrol, and an ambulance were all on the scene.
For 25 minutes the entrance ramp onto the interstate was stopped to allow crews to load the damaged car onto the tow truck.
As of now we are unsure of the driver’s condition.
