Jonathan “Jon” Smith age 48 of Paris, TN. died on May 9, 2018 at Tennova Volunteer Hospital in Martin. Graveside funeral services for Jon Smith will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Paradise Hill Family Cemetery located at 411 Rawls Road, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be held at Bowlin Funeral Home on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 12 noon until 2:00 PM. Graveside service will begin at the cemetery at 2:30 PM.
Jonathan Merrill Smith was born on January 24, 1970 to Richard Smith and Violet Thompson in Union City, TN. Along with his parents, he leaves behind his sons; Jonathan “Dakota” Smith of Memphis, Brandon Jake Smith of Troy, his brother; Jeffrey (Dawn) Lewis of Topeka, KS., his sister, Tina Marie Medley of Paris, step brothers; Rick (Barbara) Smith Jr. of Florida, Jason Smith of Pigeon Forge, step sisters; Susanna Smith and Sarah Smith Bannister both of Massachusetts. Jon was preceded in death by his infant daughter; Cheyenne Smith, He was a member of Troy Cumberland Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.
