Jackson Rockabillys marking season ender with 731 Day deals

JACKSON, Tenn. — 731 Day is in full swing and there is still time to get out and celebrate.

For years and even decades, people have been coming to the baseball stadium in Jackson to create so many memories. Why not continue that with 731 day Thursday night at the Rockabillys Stadium. They’re hosting their final game of the season and have plenty of deals to celebrate the day.

“General admission [for] all tickets are $7.31,” said Dennis Bastien, President & CEO of Jackson Rockabillys. “We have $7.31 specials in the merchandise room, The Jukebox, as well as packages in the concession stand for $7.31. It is just a unique opportunity. A lot of teams and institutions don’t get a chance to do that.”

Over the past few years, the Rockabillys have been right here in the 731 area, West Tennessee, Jackson. Bastien tells us this place is filled with opportunity.

“Hopefully it is both ways. We try to establish ourselves in the community with doing fundraisers and all kinds of tie-ins with people in the surrounding areas.,” Bastien said. “If we can continue that and it can be a part of the growth of the Rockabillys and part of the growth of this region, we’re very proud to be a part of that.”

The Rockabillys have been planning this day and this game all year long, so you know that it’s going to be a blast for the entire family. In fact, Bastien told us of a special request he asked of the league.

“We’ve requested of the league, every year, to play on 731 as well as the 4th of July. So, again it is just something that is fun to do,” Bastien said.

There is still plenty of time to get your ticket, get in the stands and enjoy the game. The first pitch is at 7 p.m.
