Got a green thumb? ‘The Plant Shop’ is now open in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. –A new opportunity to explore a wide variety of plants and garden goods is now open in Jackson.

The Plant Shop celebrated their grand opening earlier Friday. The shop is located at 219 North Parkway in Jackson.

They offer a selection of houseplants, herbs, vegetable plants and unique gifts, aiming to inspire both seasoned gardeners and beginners.

“My sister works for me next door, for the cleaning company, and she found out about one year ago she has cancer so she had to go light duty. When we went light duty we had to find something for her to do, and we put her hands in the dirt and it’s been a wonderful experience for her. So that’s how The Plant Shop came to be,” said Diana Cotten, owner.

The Plant Shop also plans to host seasonal workshops and educational events to help foster a community of plant lovers in Jackson.
