UPDATE: Third person arrested in connection to murder investigation


U.S. Marshals have announced an increase in the reward to $10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of suspect, Austin Drummond. The USMS originally offered $7,500 combined with TBI’s $7,500 which made the reward $15,000. Now, the USMS has increased its portion to $10,000, which now makes the overall total $17,500.

U.S. Marshals Increase Reward to $10,000 for Information that Leads to the Arrest of Quadruple Murder Suspect, Austin Drummond

Lake County, TN – In the ongoing investigation to find fugitive Austin Drummond, the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) is increasing the reward amount and will now pay up to $10,000 for information that leads to his arrest. Drummond is charged with Four Counts of First-Degree Murder, Aggravated Kidnapping, and weapons charges in the deaths of four people, ages 21, 20, 38, and 15, in Lake County on July 29, 2025.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) is the lead agency, and the USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force is assisting TBI and has adopted the case for a fugitive investigation.
