Henderson Co. ambulance involved in collision

HENDERSON CO., Tenn.—Henderson County EMS involved in collision.

According to the Henderson County Emergency Medical Services, on Saturday one of their ambulance crews was involved in a head-on collision. The accident occurred just before 6pm, involving a Henderson County Ambulance and a passenger vehicle in the area of Highway 412 and Fisher’s Grocery.

Information obtained online indicates that THP, Henderson County Sheriff’s Department, Henderson County Fire/Rescue, and Air Evac Lifeteam responded to the scene. One individual from the passenger vehicle was transported by Air Evac.

This afternoon, Henderson County EMS was involved in a head-on collision. Tennessee Highway Patrol has found the ambulance crews not at fault for the accident. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the community for the outpouring of prayers and support for our EMS personnel and the driver of the other vehicle. Your kindness and concern mean more than words can express.

We would also like to extend our deepest thanks to our incredible 911 Dispatchers for their unwavering dedication to saving lives every single day. Their calm, professional response makes all the difference in times of crisis.
