Auditions held for Jackson Theatre Guild’s ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’

JACKSON, Tenn.—The Jackson Theatre Guild hosts auditions for an upcoming production.

Auditions for “Arsenic and Old Lace” took place Sunday at Old City Hall in Jackson beginning at 2pm.

There was a great turn out as local talent performed in hopes of snagging a role.

The auditions were open to any adults and registration was advised.

“Arsenic and Old Lace,” directed by Billy Worboys, tells the dark comedic tale of two sisters who poison lonely men, in what they call “an act of charity.” When their actions come to light it creates a series of hilarious events.

Performance dates for the production are set to take place September 18-24 at the Ned.
