Starting Of Next Week With Cooler Than Normal Weather
Sunday Evening Update
WBBJ 7 Forecast Update:
Friday was the coolest day of the summer and officially the coolest high daily temperature in a couple months. We hit 82° and that was the lowest high daily temperature in Jackson since May 31st. That is over 60 days! We haven’t had a morning low below 68° since June 12th and we are forecast to hit 67° tonight and 65° tomorrow night! Enjoy the false fall as summer-like temperatures are expected back in a little less than a week. Catch the entire forecast coming up right here!
A LOW OF 62° EARLY SUNDAY MORNING!
It has been a much more pleasant weekend, weather wise, and another great evening ahead tonight. It won’t be as cool as last night or early this morning when 62.1° was reported out at the Jackson airport.
Most areas will be coming in with the mid to upper 60s by morning ahead, but it will still be a nice break in the heat and humidity.
Our normal high would be around 90, but most areas will be in the mid 80s come tomorrow. We will stay just below normal through Wednesday before returning to around 90 on Thursday. Our best rain chances will be Tuesday at around 30 % and rain chances will fall back off by Thursday. A gradual warming trend ahead late Week but we look to go into the lower 90s through next weekend.
NEXT WEEK:
We’ll start off below normal with low end rain chances Monday through Wednesday. Highs in the upper 80s, lows in the upper 60s. We’ll warm up to the lower 90s by Thursday with lows around the 70 degree mark.
