Steven Blake Eaves
Steve was a beloved member of the Madison Haywood Developmental Services community, where he received compassionate care and formed many meaningful connections. He lived with Down Syndrome, but he never let that define the joyful and gentle spirit that touched the lives of those around him.
Though quiet at first, Steve had a warm and welcoming heart that shone through once you got to know him. He had a deep love for professional wrestling—especially WWE—and could often be found cheering on his favorite wrestlers. He also enjoyed classic Westerns, getting lost in the action and stories of cowboys and outlaws. He had a deep love fork Elvis and talking about watches.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Mary Lou Bolser Eaves.
Steve’s simple joys and steady presence brought comfort to those who knew him. He will be fondly remembered for his quiet strength, his unique personality, and the love he shared in his own special way.
A service to celebrate Steve’s life will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 11 am at George A. Smith and Sons North Chapel with burial following in Highland Memorial Gardens. A gathering of friends and loved ones will begin at 10 am, one hour prior to the service.
He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
