Expert shares running advice for expert, beginner marathoners alike

JACKSON, Tenn. — Marathon season is in full stride!

More than 50 million Americans run regularly, making it one of the most popular fitness activities in the US. Experts say running is not just a workout, it’s a way to reset, recharge and reconnect with yourself and others who have the same goals.

“That’s something that running offers people. Like I said earlier, there’s room on the starting line for everybody. If you hit the trails or the roads, what you are going to find is this really vibrant community of runners,” said Chris Bennet, Nike Running Global Head Coach.
