Man honored for 28 years of leadership with AgResearch and Education Center at Milan
MILAN, Tenn. — One man is honored for almost three decades of service to his community. Tuesday a reception was held at the West Tennessee Agricultural Museum honoring Blake Brown.
Brown has served as director of the Ag-Research and Education Center at Milan for 28 years. He has recently been appointed to the position of Associate Dean of Field Operations for UT Ag-Research.
“We’ve been here for 28 years, we love Milan, it’s been good to us. Yeah, it’s really hard to leave a small town and West Tennessee. We love it here, but it’s going to be an adjustment, but we’re excited about the possibilities and we’ll see where it goes,” said Brown.
Jason Williams has been named the interim director of the Milan center.
