Team of The Week North Side Indians

Team of The Week North Side Indians

It’s Thursday so that means it’s time for your team of the week.
It will go to the North Side Indians. They are fresh off a 25 to 6 victory over the South Side hawks.
In that game clearly their defense met the challenge not allowing south side to get
anything they really wanted on the ground or through the air. Defensive backs were breaking
on balls the linebackers and  lineman stepped up in the run game.

North side controlled the pace of the game and for them it started with running the football.
Whether it be jet sweeps, outside zone or QB draw they always
found a way to stay ahead of the sticks. Now they sit
at 2-0 and before last week had an early bye week in week 2.
Which apparently couldn’t have come at a better time because the team
was dealing with a sickness but they are all better now. We
caught up with head coach Woodrow Lowe jr and he spoke
about last Fridays win and how Quinn Jenkins
is the one that makes the ground game
go for them. Take a listen.

Well the kids were just locked in they were ready to go its big big game for them and they were fired up i didn’t have to say a whole lot to get them going but they just they did what they were supposed to they executed well and defense played especially well. Oh yeah Quinn can run Quinn can run and he can throw but just in a game like that when its close and your defense is playing so well you know you want to run the ball you dont want to take to many chances on turnovers or anything like that but he ran the ball very effectively as well as Demingo Maupins ran well and so
did Ronald Simpson so they all had a great impact on the success of the ground attack”.
To see the North side Indians in
action they host Lexington on
Friday at 7:00 pm.
