Union’s annual Family Weekend set for Sept. 26-27

JACKSON, Tenn. — Union University will host Family Weekend 2025, one of the university’s favorite annual traditions, Sept. 26-27 with a variety of events and activities for the whole family.

The highlight of the weekend will be Union Night on the Great Lawn from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, with food trucks, a Ferris wheel, tents from various departments and student organizations and a fireworks display over Miller Tower.

Other weekend events include the Make-a-Wish cookout on Friday from 5-7 p.m. (advance tickets required), movie on the lawn Friday at 8 p.m., disc golf tournament at 8 a.m. Saturday, president’s brunch at 10 a.m. Saturday (advance tickets required) and Blank Slate Improv Show on Saturday at 9 p.m. in G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.

In addition, Union’s soccer, volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee teams will be in action. 

Guests are encouraged to visit the atrium in the Student Union Building on Sept. 26 to pick up their schedules and any pre-ordered T-shirts. Additional shirts will be available for purchase at both the SUB and Union Night.
