West TN Comic Con returns to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—A popular event returns to Jackson with fun for the entire family.

The 2nd annual West TN Comic Con is happening at the Carl Perkins Civic Center this weekend.

Saturday kicked off at 10 in the morning.

The event is filled with special guests, vendors selling unique merchandise, and photo opportunities.

Guests could participate in cosplay contest and meet actors like Lou Ferrigno (the original Hulk), wresting icon Honkey Tonk Man, and actor David Newell of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood.

There were also several voice actors present, as well as artists, and popular content creators.

“West Tennessee Comic Con. It’s all weekend this weekend. All day today and tomorrow. We’ve got a great crowd so far. We’ve got three floors. We’re taking up the entire civic center,” said Austin Bell, Comic Con Coordinator.

If you missed out on Saturday’s event, the fun continues Sunday beginning at 10am.

Tickets for ages 13 and above are $20 plus tax and applicable fees while Kids 6-12 are $15 plus taxes and fees. Those under 5 are free with an accompanying adult.
