Jackson, Tenn. – On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the Carl Perkins Civic Center will come alive as community leaders, sponsors, and supporters gather for the 10th Anniversary of Dancing with the STARs, presented by Leaders Credit Union and benefitting The STAR Center.

This year’s event will feature six alumni couples from across West Tennessee, including college presidents, realtors, and educators, who will return to the stage to raise funds and awareness for individuals with disabilities.

For more than 37 years, The STAR Center has provided life-changing services to people with disabilities across the region. The mission of the STAR Center is where compassion, technology, and independence come together to create individualized success. Our vision to help any person with any disability realize their potential is what drives each dance team to fundraise and prepare for competition.

“Each year, we hear stories of dancers pushing past their perceived limitations, inspired by the people The STAR Center serves,” said Jennifer Graves, President of The STAR Center. “Every donation raised and every ticket purchased helps us continue to #CrushTheNO and ensure that individuals with disabilities can turn challenges into opportunities.”

Through our wide range of services, The STAR Center helps children develop communication skills, equips adults for employment, and supports older adults in maintaining independence. Proceeds from Dancing with the STARs directly impact these programs, allowing over 4,000 Tennesseans each year pursue their goals and dreams.
