Residents enjoy opening night for Hardin County Agricultural Fair

SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Monday evening, people in Hardin County welcomed another year of the Hardin County Fair with opening night.

There are all of your fair favorites including rides, games, livestock shows, fair food, demolition shows and exhibits in their exhibit building.

“We also have some pictures at the end of the building down here that we had the school kids in one of the elementary schools to do. It’s a project that if it worked well this year, we’ll have more next year,” said Calvin Hinton, secretary for the Hardin County Fair Board.

Leaders say the Hardin County Fair has been around for more than a century. It continues through Saturday, September 20.
