Madison County crews responds to shop fire

Structure Fire – East District

**Time:** Approximately 06:30 AM

Early this morning, Madison County Fire Department crews responded to a reported structure fire in the East District of Madison County. Upon arrival, firefighters found a 30×60 shop with fire visible.

Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and were able to bring the fire under control in a short amount of time.

After investigation, the cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.
