Walk to End Alzheimer’s is World’s Largest Event Dedicated to Alzheimer’s Care, Support and Research
JACKSON, TN – The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting West Tennessee residents to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s – West Tennessee on Saturday, September 27th at Rockabillys Baseball Stadium in Jackson.

West TN Walk participants pass under the Start arch at last year’s event. Bring your family and friends to this year’s Walk. Register at alz.org/westTNwalk
“This is a pivotal moment in the fight against Alzheimer’s. There are now treatments that can change the course of the disease,” said Don Schwartz, Alzheimer’s Association Staff Partner for the West Tennessee Walk. “We hope that everyone in our community can join us by starting a team to help the Alzheimer’s Association raise awareness and funds for families facing the disease today, take more steps toward treatments and finally ending this disease.”

Walk volunteers are essential to the Walk experience. Join us to help at the Walk and learn how you can become involved all year round.
On Walk Day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. During the ceremony, walkers will carry flowers of various colors, each color representing their personal connection to the disease.
