City of Jackson invites community to Hispanic Heritage Month celebration

JACKSON, Tenn. — The City of Jackson will be hosting a Hispanic Heritage Celebration this Friday at city hall.

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15 through October 15.

The celebration will feature musical performances, dances, and art with a guest speaker.

The City of Jackson is hoping for strong participation and encourages every one to come to this cultural celebration.

“Just show up and participate and we will keep doing these as long as we have positive reactions to it and we have participation with it,” said Christiana Gallagher, community relations director for the City of Jackson.

This celebration will begin at 4 pm in the main foyer of city hall and it is free to the public.
