Jackson Rotary’s guest speaker provides update on Ford BlueOval City
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Rotary Club held a meeting for an update on the Ford BlueOval City plant in Stanton.

The plant intends to start making second generation, full-sized electric pick up trucks.

The trucks have not been released to the public, however the name and features will be revealed soon.

The Ford Motor Company is hopeful about the future in Stanton and they are planning to move forward with this project.
“We want to make sure that one people understand that we are still here. Right. We’re still moving forward. We’re excited about the future with Ford Motor Company in Stanton, Tennessee. We’re excited about the opportunities for the region,” said Marianne Dunavant, community relations manager for Ford Motor Company.
Prototype vehicles are going to start being in production in 2027 with mass production beginning in 2028.
