Dream Center’s annual golf tournament raises money for those in need

HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Golfers from across West Tennessee gathered to compete in a special tournament for a good cause.

The Dream Center of Jackson held their annual golf tournament earlier Thursday at Humboldt Golf and Country Club. The 9th annual tournament was sponsored by Southern Reinforcing.

All proceeds go towards the Dream Center and their goal of supporting women and young children.

“The tournament supporting the Dream Center, we are funded mostly by private donations, and so it’s just one more way that we are able to feed and clothe, and school uniforms–all the things that our residents need. So it’s just great that the community is willing to come out and invest their time and their money, but have a good time!” said .

They plan to start registering competing teams for next years tournament in June.
