Local aerialists showcase their skills in ‘House of Misfits’ show

JACKSON, Tenn. — What happens when you don’t get accepted into the big circus? You find yourself in the House of Misfits—a place where the unusual, the daring and the brilliant shine.

Earlier Thursday night, the House of Misfits performed their spectacular aerial show at the Arrow Athletics building in north Jackson. The breathtaking performances saw aerialists ages 8–18 take to the skies, soaring 20 feet in the air with heart-stopping artistry and fearless imagination.

“So the show tonight is based off Amanda, our coach who has put together this whole choreography and platform, and her aerialists that she trains are performing tonight for all of us,” said Alissa Maness, owner of Arrow Athletics.

You can still watch the madness Friday and Saturday from 6 to 8 pm.
