Experts say fall is the perfect time for a cruise

JACKSON, Tenn. — Experts say fall is the perfect time to set sail.

Off-season cruises offer smaller crowds, lower rates, and the chance to visit warm-weather destinations without the summer rush.

Travelers can enjoy a more relaxed pace with fewer crowds at popular ports, making it easier to book shore excursions, dine at top restaurants, and explore destinations without long waits.

With eighteen ships sailing to the Caribbean, Bahamas, and Mexican Riviera from eleven convenient homeports, Norwegian Cruise Line gives travelers the flexibility to choose anything from a quick three-day Bahamas getaway to a seven-day island-hopping adventure.

“Norwegian Cruise Line is offering, on some of its itinerary, visits to Great Stirrup Cay, its private island, and Great Stirrup Cay is set to give you a slew of new things on the island, including a heated pool, swim up bars, a splash zone for kids, and more,” said Colleen McDaniel, Editor in Chief of Cruise Critic.

Guests can also take advantage of NCLs “More at Sea” package, which includes more than $2,000 in value with perks like unlimited open bar, specialty dining, WiFi, and shore excursion credits.
