Animal Rescue Corps save 50+ animals from Gibson County property
FROM ANIMAL RESCUE CORPS ON 9/23/25:
ARC is deployed on another emergency rescue at the urgent request of law enforcement – 54 animals in urgent need of help in two next door properties in Gibson County, TN. bit.ly/op-dark-passage
1 cat and 53 dogs and puppies have been living with a palpable lack of care. Some are penned, some are caged, some are loose. Some live inside a trailer with no running water and rotting floors. The animals have been surrendered into ARC’s care and are in urgent need of medical, physical, and social care – and, eventually, placement and transport in our partner network to find the loving homes they’ve always needed and deserved.
This is Operation Dark Passage, and we need your help. Your donation can help these animals recover and get their second chance.
The 54 rescued today now make 185+ dogs and cats rescued by ARC in 12 days, with the last rescue happening only yesterday — but cruelty doesn’t wait and neither can we. Please make your strongest gift today to help the animals of Operation Dark Passage and all of ARC’s lifesaving work.
WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Tipsters tell us this occurred in the Dyer, TN area and resulted in at least one arrest. We’ll provide an update here should additional information be confirmed.
