Green Acres kicks off its Fall Fest
MILAN, Tenn.—One local farm kicks off its fall festival days with fun activities for the entire family.
Green Acres Farm located at 158 Medina Highway in Milan launched its fall festival this weekend. The farm has several activities available to enjoy.
Visitors can head to Pumpkinville to play in the corn boxes, slides, or take in a game of cornhole or pumpkin bowling.
The farm also brought back its unique corn maze with this year’s theme being Dolly Parton!
Several other activities include duck races, multiple photo ops, or taking a trip to the pumpkin patch. There guests can find the farm’s more than 100 different varieties of pumpkins, and gourds.
And come hungry, a variety of food trucks are also on site throughout the season.
“Grab a pencil and a note pad, we’ve got them available for everybody. All the prices are on the pumpkins. You just jot down what price you get the pumpkin from, give it to the attendants at the tent and they’ll check you out,” said Walker Parkin, farmer, Green Acres.
Admission is $15 per person with children 2 and under free.
The farm is open 7 days a week beginning September 27, hours vary each day and guests can visit Green Acres Farm on Facebook to keep up with the latest.
