Wreck with injuries reported in downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — A wreck with injuries occurred around 4pm in downtown Jackson at the intersection of East Chester Street and South Highland Avenue.

While officials confirmed there are injuries, there is no word on the severity.

When we arrived on scene, we noticed one vehicle had crashed into Barrel Wine And Spirit. Jackson Police and Fire Departments were on scene, as well as EMS.

The cause of the incident is not yet clear.
