We spoke Michael Provost, who reflected on a recent tragedy in California that made their roles hit even closer to home.
“I lived in Pasadena, California, and I got to experience first hand earlier in January what it’s like to live through a disaster,” Provost said. “So just feeling very grateful for the people who actually do this in real life and honored to even touch it.”
“9-1-1: Nashville” is filled with action-packed scenes, and the cast opens up about stepping into the action themselves.
“We’re really doing these rescues,” said Hailey Kilgore. “We are really–I used the jaws of life the other day, the big ones all by myself, lots of running, lots of lifting.”
In this ABC drama, viewers get a front-row seat as firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers respond to emergencies.
The series premiere of “9-1-1: Nashville” airs this Thursday, October 9 at 8 p.m. on ABC, or October 10 for Hulu subscribers.
