Several recent shootings remain unsolved in Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn. — Several shootings in the City of Jackson are still unsolved, and we continue to work to get updates.
Multiple shootings have occurred in Jackson and some of these cases are still open.
One shooting recently happened on October 4th near Heritage Square is still under investigation.
According to a news release from the Jackson Police Department, when officers arrived on scene, the victim of this shooting had acquired a gun shot wound to the left thigh. However, it is still unclear what led up to the incident and what the suspect’s motive is.
Another shooting in the Hub City occurred on July 10.
JPD officers arrived at a local hospital where a male had a gunshot wound injury. The officers then determined this situation happened at The Tap Bar and Grill located on Old Hickory Boulevard. The suspect pictured above is potentially from out of town and investigators are still trying to locate and identify this man.
The WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Team has contacted Jackson Police about these shootings, however no new updates have been provided. Police say once these crimes have been resolved through the court process, the release of outcomes and dispositions will be available.
