FROM THE ALAMO POLICE DEPARTMENT:

Alamo Police Department Recent Investigations Report

The Alamo Police Department recently handled three significant investigations. The cases include an aggravated assault, the circulation of counterfeit currency, and a serious incident of child abuse. Below is a detailed account of each investigation and its current status.

Involving an aggravated assault where a young woman was discovered on the roadway on West Church. The circumstances surrounding the assault are under investigation, and the department is working diligently to collect evidence and identify any suspects or witnesses who may provide additional information.

Involving counterfeit money passed at the Dollar Store on South Bells Street. During the course of the investigation, one suspect has been positively identified, while law enforcement continues to search for an additional individual believed to be involved. The department is actively pursuing leads to locate the remaining suspect and prevent further instances of counterfeit currency in the community.

Another critical case investigated by the department concerns the abuse of a four-month-old infant. Both suspects connected to this incident have been formally charged. The Alamo Police Department is coordinating with child protective services and other relevant agencies to ensure the child’s safety and to bring those responsible to justice.

The Alamo Police Department remains committed to upholding public safety and justice. Their ongoing efforts in these investigations demonstrate a strong resolve to address violent crime and financial fraud, and to protect vulnerable members of the community. Updates will be provided as these cases progress.
