At 12 pm Monday, Humphreys County and Hickman County Sheriffs along with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms released new information regarding Friday’s explosion at Accurate Energetic Systems near the Hickman-Humphreys County line.

Through much of the conference, Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis could be seen holding back tears.

Monday’s release identified the 16 workers who are presumed deceased as a result of the blast:

  • Jason Adams
  • Erick Anderson
  • Billy Baker
  • Adam Boatman
  • Christopher Clark
  • Mindy Clifton
  • James Cook
  • Reyna Gillihan
  • LaTeisha Mays
  • Jeremy Moore
  • Melinda Rainey
  • Melissa Stafford
  • Trenton Stewart
  • Rachel Woodall
  • Steven Wright
  • Donald Yowell

For the next few minutes, Sheriff Davis and Hickman County Sheriff Jason Craft emotionally listed off the 16 names of the workers.

The sheriffs and investigators remain dedicated to finishing their mission behind the support at local, state, and even federal levels.

“I spoke with the White House within an hour ago. Support’s here. We’re going to stay on track to get the mission accomplished that’s at hand,” said Sheriff Davis.

Yesterday, Governor Bill Lee was given an aerial tour of the site. Also while he was in the area, the governor attended a church service at the Compassion Church in nearby Waverly.

“It was very somber in there, in the church. Tears and stunned silence, quite frankly, from most of them,” said Gov. Lee.

The next update on the investigation is scheduled for Wednesday evening.
