travel to face the Alabama Crimson Tide. A rival
that dates back to november 28th 1901. However,
in the last four years the two teams have tied at 2-2
with the vols winning last year. Now this time around
vols are five and one ranked as the number eleventh team in the
nation. With an offense that is averaging 48.2 points per game
and forcing at least one turnover in every contest this season.
While on the other hand the Alabama Crimson Tide are 5-1 as well
ranked number six in the country and quarterback Ty Simpson has
played himself into the heisman conversation with his stellar play
and the tide winning their last five games. Alot is on the line from rankings,
to conference placing and of course bragging rights. It will take place on
Saturday October 18th at Bryant Denny stadium and kickoff is slated for
7:30 pm.
