West TN native and former NFL linebacker gives back to the community with private movie screening

JACKSON, Tenn. — A retired NFL linebacker hosts a movie night for local residents.

2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee and Bruceton native Patrick Willis hosted a private screening of “Good Fortune” at Hollywood Cinema on Vann Drive. Willis has a fund set up for giving back to the community.

The fund provided popcorn and drinks for viewers to enjoy throughout the film.

Willis’s sister tells us this is something he has loved doing for the community and that he has always wanted to host a private screening.

“I’m following his Patrick Willis Community Fund where he gives back to youth he tackles the barriers and promotes strength in order for them to be successful in life,” said Ernicka Willis.

Willis played his entire eight year career with the San Francisco 49ers as a linebacker.
