Team of The Week Westview Chargers

Let’s kick things off with your team of the week  and for that we have to
go to Martin because it will be the Westview Chargers football team.
Last Friday they defeated the Bolivar Tigers
58 to 6. The  Chargers showed out defensively forcing Bolivar offense to stall out multiple times
and on the offensive end having an explosion getting it done through
the air and on the ground. Even on special teams returned a punt for
a touchdown. The Chargers are one of the best teams in
Tennessee being  undefeated as we speak at 7-0 overall and
4-0 in district. We spoke with head coach Matt McConnell and he talked
about Friday’s win.

“Yeah it was just a good week of practice leading up to that before we got out on fall break so you know its always tough we had homecoming going on and then coming out for fall break so you know i was proud of the kids how they come out and competed friday when we got an opportunity to go out and play it was a big region win so excited for that and moving on to our next one.”

They are currently on a bye week but will be back in action next Friday
on the road at Dyersburg.
