Jeff Wall receives statewide “Ralph Puckett Outstanding County Commissioner” award

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Madison County Board of Commissioners proudly congratulates Commissioner Jeff Wall on being named a 2025 recipient of the Tennessee County Commissioners Association’s (TCCA) “Ralph Puckett Outstanding County Commissioner” Award. The honor is presented annually at the TCSA Fall Conference to one commissioner from each of Tennessee’s three grand divisions. Commissioner Wall was chosen among all County Commissioners located in West Tennessee.

“I can attest that Commissioner Wall’s work reflects the very best of public service. He is most certainly a hands-on problem solver, his responsiveness to citizens is unmatched, and he shows a relentless focus on partnerships that move Madison County forward,” said Commissioner Mike Taylor, Chairman of the Board. “We congratulate him on this well-deserved recognition and thank him for representing Madison County with excellence.”

Commissioner Wall currently serves on the Madison County Commission, representing District Nine.

This marks the first time a Madison County Commissioner has received the Ralph Puckett Outstanding County Commissioner award. The Board applauds Commissioner Wall for bringing this distinction home on behalf of Madison County’s residents and county government team.

The Tennessee County Commissioners Association presents the “Ralph Puckett Outstanding County Commissioner” award each year, recognizing commissioners who demonstrate exceptional leadership and service. TCCA selects one honoree from each of Tennessee’s three grand divisions.
