Front Street Festival brings town of Greenfield together
GREENFIELD, Tenn. — One local town brings on the festive fall mood with a huge event.
Held at Veterans’ Park pavilion, Greenfield’s Front Street Festival is back with a full week of community events, family activities, and hometown traditions that capture the spirit of small-town Tennessee.
From live music and local food to a parade, fireworks, and even a 5K Glow Run, organizers say this year’s schedule offers something for everyone.
To celebrate Halloween a bit early, Monday evening was the Front Street Festival’s ‘Fairytale Night’…which is a fundraiser for the high school’s junior/senior prom.
“We have our Juniors dressed up in characters, all kinds of fairytale characters, everything from superheroes to princesses to all kinds of characters and they’re mingling with the children,” said Leanne Edwards, mother of the Junior Class president.
“Just come out, just come and support us. We’re gonna have a lot of things going on, lots of arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, music, all kinds of things going on.. on Front Street,” said Jerica Spikes, Senior Recorder for the city of Greenfield.
Organizers say the Front Street Festival continues with events each evening through Saturday in Greenfield.
