Funeral service for Roosevelt “Ted” Austin, Jr., age 63, will be Friday, October 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Austin died Friday, October 17, 2025 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Visitation for Mr. Austin will be Thursday, October 23, 2025 at New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM.  Mr. Austin will lie-in-state at New St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service.
