Grand opening held for new STEM center in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Tenn. — One local community is bringing hands-on science and technology learning tools to local students.

The Tennessee Valley Authority and Cal Ripken Senior Foundation celebrated the grand opening of their new STEM center at Caywood Elementary School in Lexington.

Students got to demonstrate their new equipment and talk about how it’s changing the way they learn.

TVA and community leaders also shared how this partnership is helping prepare kids across the Tennessee Valley for future STEM careers.
