Grand opening held for CTE General Store at Crockett County High School

ALAMO, Tenn. — The grand opening of the Crockett County High School’s Career and Technical Education General Store took place Friday.

This event celebrates the hard work and innovation of the students and staff in creating a space that supports hands-on learning, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.

The general store is a key component of their CTE  program, alongside their food science lab and hydroponic greenhouse.

“At times we get so bogged down that, you know, we have a vision, we have a dream, and we say, ‘That’ll never happen. There’s no way, there’s no way. That’s too large or too whatever.’ But it’s possible, and if you just find the right people to support you, you can definitely make anything happen,” said Ag teacher at CCHS and CTE director.

This grand opening showcases the incredible opportunities Crockett County High School students are experiencing through career and technical education.
