Elks’ bunco fundraiser gathers over $5k for breast cancer

PRESS RELEASE FROM ELKS LODGE #192:

Bunco Makes a Difference

Elks are the difference! The members and guests of Elks #192 herded together on October 21 to make more people aware of breast cancer and its effect on our community. The bunco tournament was attended by over 65 members and guests from all walks of life and age groups.

The experience featured a silent auction, door prizes, and an excellent Taco bar, catered by Boss Ross of Jackson, TN. The dice rolled, and shouts of “Bunco” and “Big Bunco” filled the room as an excellent time was had by all attending.

The event raised over $5000 donated to the Community Foundation to be used to help women overcome the physical and mental trauma of breast cancer.

The Elks are a community-focused, fraternal organization located at 28 Executive Drive in Jackson. You can find out more by visiting the lodge and browsing Elks.org online.
