City of Jackson to take part in ‘No Trash November’
JACKSON, Tenn. — The City of Jackson wants you to do your part when it comes to keeping our city clean.

Keep Jackson Beautiful is proud to announce its participation in the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s “No Trash November,” a statewide initiative that encourages Tennesseans to take part in community cleanup events throughout the month.
In collaboration with keep tennessee beautiful and love your block, this initiative invites all residents to either join existing cleanup events or host their own community cleanup in november.
“This weekend we launch No Trash November, in partnership with Keep America Beautiful and Keep TN Beautiful. We’re bringing it to the City of Jackson. We’re hosting a series of litter cleanups. The city is going to host about one per week but we encourage: students, businesses, churches to host their own cleanups,” said Elvia Trejo, neighborhood service director for the City of Jackson.

Trejo urges all residents to demonstrate their support for a litter-free Jackson by using the #NoTrashNovember hashtags on social media, showcasing their efforts in litter prevention throughout the month.
