Child Found Safe in Carroll County

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. —  We have details following reports of a missing child found safe in Carroll County.

According to Carroll County authorities, in the early hours Saturday morning they responded to a call near Baker Road after reports from parents of a missing two-year-old child.

Carroll County Rescue Squad, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, and a K-9 Unit from Henry County were all on site to aid the search.

According to sources, the missing two-year-old was found inside the house shortly after the search began. Witnesses tell us the child fell asleep under a pile of clothes in the laundry room.
